I would like to ask what is the set temperature of the intermediate temperature control valve in the compressor oil circuit system (lubricant No. 32)? Thanks
It is usually kept around 35 to 40 degrees
Based on our production experience, keeping it at 35–40 degrees ensures stable operation of the unit.
For large compressors, the oil temperature is usually controlled by a automatic control valve, which adjusts it automatically based on its own thermal expansion effects. The manufacturer sets this value at the time of production according to the process requirements, and no further adjustment is needed. This temperature is generally kept around 40 degrees; of course, this also depends on the local ambient temperature;
For large piston compressors: motor stator temperature < 123°C, motor shaft bearing temperature < 80°C, lubricating oil temperature < 50°C℃
It is generally controlled between 35-45 degrees; this temperature depends mainly on the requirements of the compressor
It is recommended to check the requirements in the manual; it might be safer that way.
Personally, I think it should be around 50°C; generally, lubricants perform best at around 40°C (35°C–45°C). Therefore, the setting value of the temperature control valve should be higher than this temperature. However, it is best to consult the device’s manual as suggested on floor 10 to ensure safe operation.
