For a 1.10T/H waste heat boiler with a steam pressure of 0.8~0.85 MPa, is it better to use a method of replenishing water based on high/low liquid levels (40%~90%) or a method with a constant liquid level (80%)? I would appreciate it if experts could share their insights!
Let’s see the actual situation! ! But generally, higher and lower liquid levels are better, right! The operation time interval is quite long!
It mainly depends on how the load of the waste heat boiler changes. If the load is very high, it is better to supply water at a constant water level; otherwise, it is better to supply water at varying water levels. However, the setting range of 40%-90% for these varying water levels is a bit too wide

Waste heat boilers primarily use the heat released during the production process to generate steam. In my opinion, it is better to maintain a constant water level, as this ensures stable heat absorption and thus contributes to stability in the production process.
Since low-low liquid level conditions in the boiler occur frequently, it has been decided to adopt constant liquid level control. However, a new problem has arisen: the chemical dosing pump will keep running, so how should the concentration of the chemicals be adjusted?
The dosage of the chemical to be used when maintaining a constant water level can be calculated based on the ratio of the dosage used during the original intermittent water addition process. Since the dosage will be lower, the chemical can be further diluted before use, as long as the amount of its active ingredients remains the same as before
The evaporation rate is not high; why use continuous water replenishment? It’s pointless and only increases the cost of equipment.
