How is the graphitization tendency of carbon steel monitored at high temperatures (>425 degrees)?

According to GB150－98, 4.1.6, when carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel are used at high temperatures (>425 degrees), attention must be paid to their tendency toward graphitization. Design institutes require graphiteization analysis to be conducted at least every 3 years. What methods do experts use to analyze and monitor this phenomenon during use?
Periodic inspection can be employed, with inspections carried out by qualified testing agencies, usually using metallographic analysis.
I think we should start with the choice of material – opting for better chromium-molybdenum steel or even heat-resistant steel;; relying on graphiteization monitoring alone probably won’t work……
I agree with the comment above; it’s generally better to avoid a tendency toward graphitization by choosing the right materials.
