The 150,000 cubic meter storage tank has an inner diameter of 100 meters and a height of 22.8 meters. The design standards are API620 or API650; the tank wall is designed using the variable node method. For the lower layers of the tank wall, steel with a yield strength of 490 series is generally used, while for the upper three layers or more, Q345R material can be employed. The wind-resistant rings and reinforcement rings are designed in accordance with national standards, and the structure can be constructed in compliance with GB or API standards. The backtracking calculation is carried out using Pan Jiahua’s method; a two-layer warehouse is preferred.
