The sampling valve assembly for the bottom sampler of the oil storage tank consists of pipelines and valves for sampling and circulation; a three-way ball valve is used as both the sampling valve and the circulation valve. The inlet of this three-way ball valve is connected to the sampling pipe leading from inside the tank, one outlet leads to the manual circulation pump, and the other outlet serves as the sampling port. When it is necessary to take an oil sample, first rotate the handle of the three-way valve to align the flow orifice inside the valve core with the upper circulation pipeline. Use a hand pump to send the oil in the pipeline back to the storage tank through the return pipe. Once the circulation is complete, stop the pump. Then rotate the handle of the three-way valve again to align the flow orifice inside the valve core with the lower sampling port; the oil that flows out from this port is the sample to be collected. This utility model features a simple structure and is easy to implement. It completely solves the problem of oil replacement in the sampling valve and sampling pipelines, saves oil resources, eliminates safety hazards, and reduces environmental pollution.

Operators can take samples from the liquid inside the tank at high, medium, and low positions from outside the tank, without the need to climb onto or open the tank, making it extremely convenient to use. Installation: The external piping of the floating sampler requires holes to be drilled in the tank wall and welded there; the internal sampling tube is connected inside the tank via threads and pins, making the installation simple. Usage: When in use, first determine the pipeline from which sampling is to be taken; for example, if it is at a higher level, open the valve at that higher position and crank the hand pump a certain number of times to pump the oil currently present in the pipeline back into the tank. Then open the valve slightly to obtain an accurate liquid sample from the sampling port at that higher level. In the same way, liquid samples can also be obtained from levels that are intermediate or lower.
