The condensed oil contains free water – could it be that the dehydration process in the condensed oil tank is not effective? What should be done in such a case?
Better check the crude gasoline and heat exchanger first before making a judgment
The dehydration effect in the oil reduction tank is no longer good; it’s likely there’s a problem upstream. We’re facing a similar situation – there’s too much wastewater from the oil-gas separator, and all of it ends up in the oil reduction tank. The dehydration performance is still somewhat acceptable. After further investigation, it was found that there was some internal leakage in the heat exchanger at the top of the distillation tower. There’s really no way to fix it right now; we’ll have to shut down the plant for repairs next time
It’s rare for condensate oil to contain free water; it must be that there is water coming from upstream. It’s best to start by checking the cooling temperature, leaks in the cooler, and the moisture content of the feedstock to find the cause
Check the level of the dewatering liquid set at the upstream side, and whether there is any internal leakage in the water cooler
If the crude gasoline contains water, do you mean that the dehydration unit in the condensate tank is overloaded? Our gasoline does not pass through a heat exchanger before entering the condensate tank; it is only cooled by air cooling.
