Over the next two years, the province will focus on implementing the \"Shanxi Province Coal Industry Circular Economy Promotion Plan,\" with an investment of 180 billion yuan aimed at stimulating domestic demand, raising the level of the industry, optimizing the industrial structure, and enhancing the long-term development potential of the coal industry. In the investment aimed at boosting domestic demand in the coal industry over the next one to two years, Shanxi will focus on promoting 10 large-scale mines such as Tashan Coal Mine owned by Datong Coal Group, as well as other coal circular economy projects that have been put into operation recently ; Completion of the construction of production support facilities for 11 large-scale mines, including the Pingshu Wenjiazhuang Mine in Shanxi, which have been approved for joint trial operation. The large-scale, high-efficiency mines and coal circular economy projects under construction will modernize more than 20 large-scale mines such as Fensxi Xinyang, with 20 mines coming online in the current and next two years. Wang Shouzhen, director of the Shanxi Provincial Coal Industry Bureau, said that the transformation and development of the coal industry in the province is based on the concept of a \"modern large-scale coal industry.\" By developing industries such as coal-electricity integration, combined coal-electricity-heat production, coal-aluminum complexes, coalbed methane, coal chemical processing, coal machinery, coal safety measures, coal-related environmental protection efforts, and coal-based building materials, the province aims to accelerate the construction of circular economy projects and the restructuring of coal mines. It also seeks to develop industrial projects that involve multi-product production from coal, as well as diversified and comprehensive utilization of resources.
