What are the standards for the flanges of insulated stop valves, insulated gate valves, and insulated ball valves?
Our insulation team members go to the site to take measurements of the length, width, and height, so as to create a rectangular box. After completion, align the box first, then fill the interior space with insulation foam, and finally seal it!
There are no specific standards; referring to American standard flanges such as ASTM B16.5 or standards like HG20592 and HG3406 will suffice. It’s important to remember that jacketed flanges should be slightly larger than flanges without jackets.
The insulation thickness of the flange must not be less than that of the pipeline; the insulation material inside the valve insulation box must be filled completely – this is a basic requirement
