One chlorine flow meter needs to be selected, with the following requirements: 1. Moist chlorine gas; 2. Chlorine pressure of 0.2~0.5 MPa; 3. Pipe diameter of DN80; 4. Flow rate: 5 t/h. Please help select one, and it would be good if you could explain the reasons and advantages for that choice

I have been in contact with the following types: orifice plates, flange-mounted pressure taps, and dual-flange differential pressure transmitters for measurement; however, pressure tap elbows tend to get clogged and are difficult to deal with. Vortex flow meters (with a sound-generating element and a separate probe) are acceptable, but not very stable, as they are prone to interference. Target flow meters have been tested, and their measurement performance is decent; the key lies in the connection between the target rod and the sensing components, as well as the sealing method
Orifice plate, flange-based pressure tapping, measurement using a double-flange differential pressure transmitter. If it is a double-flange differential pressure transmitter that is used for measurement and there are no pressure tap pipes installed, then why could the pressure tap pipes still get clogged? It’s not the installation of a pressure guide tube

A flange-mounted pressure tap orifice plate refers to a type of orifice plate whose pressure tapping ports are located on the flange; it does not mean that the differential pressure transmitter is connected via a flange – it is still the pressure tapping tubes that are used for taking pressure readings
