The centrifugal compressor installed in my facility has recently shown the following symptoms: the exhaust pressure and inlet flow rate have decreased significantly, the shaft displacement has also dropped markedly, the exhaust temperature has risen considerably, while other parameters such as vibration remain within normal ranges. The pressure indicated by the balance tube on site is much lower than the inlet pressure; the pressure gauge is accurate. I suspect it’s caused by a clogged filter at the inlet. Gentlemen, please help diagnose it.
It’s probably due to too low inbound traffic.
Check the inlet; it must be blocked.

Is your balance pipe led out from the inlet or introduced from the compressor outlet? If it is the former case, it might be a blockage in the balance tube. Check the balance tube! Based on my understanding of your question, it seems that the load is low, meaning the inflow volume has decreased; check the filter screen.
The drop in pressure in the balance tube is caused by a clogged inlet filter; arrange to clean the inlet filter as soon as possible.
Doesn’t the inlet filter have a differential pressure gauge?

What is the normal pressure for the balance tube? We show a slight positive pressure, but there is a difference of about 6 kilograms between the inlet and outlet pressures
