I work in chemical machinery and am planning to work at a coking plant. What are the main types of equipment used there, and how do they differ from the equipment used in other chemical plants?
The four main coke handling vehicles (coal loading cars, coke pushing cars, coke stopping cars, and coke quenching cars), and for ramming coke production, there are also rammers. Switches, air compressors, blowers, pumps, etc.
Coal coking workshop: Variable-frequency coal feeding conveyor \ belt \ crusher \ rotary feeder, coke oven platform \ scraper conveyor \ belt \ vibrating coke screen. Coking workshop: Four types of vehicles (coal loading vehicle, coke pushing vehicle, coke stopping vehicle, coke quenching vehicle), switchgear, high-pressure ammonia water pump, coke quenching pump. Chemical products workshop: Drum cooling section: Vapor-liquid separator, mechanized ammonia water clarification tank, oil-water separator, circulating ammonia water pump, tar remover; various tar and ammonia water tanks, primary cooler, upper and lower condensate tanks, pumps; electric tar catcher, gas blower, circulating water pump, low-temperature water pump, refrigeration water pump, refrigerator; low-temperature and circulating water cooling racks. Desulfurization section: Pre-cooling tower, desulfurization tower, desulfurization solution regeneration tower, desulfurization solution circulation pump, sulfur melting kettle. Ammonium sulfate production section: Saturator, large and small mother liquor circulation pumps, high-positioned sulfuric acid tank, mother liquor tank, crystallization pump, crystallization tank, centrifuge, dryer, hot and cold air fans, exhaust gas fan, ammonia vaporization tower. Crude benzene processing section: Final cooler, benzene washing tower, benzene removal tower, various heat exchangers, oil-water separator, various rich and lean oil pumps, etc. If there is anything missing, please let me know
Additional information: In the crude benzene processing section: circulation pumps for the upper and lower sections of the final cooling tower, alkali tank, dosing pump for adding alkali, tubular furnace, regenerator, pump for crude benzene product, reflux pump, residue pump, etc. In the ammonium sulfate processing section: pump for ammonia vaporization wastewater, pump for raw ammonia water, ammonia vaporization heat exchanger, etc. In the drum cooling section: tar pump, pump for residual ammonia water, intermediate pump for residual ammonia water, submersible pump, pump for the refrigeration circulation system, etc. In the desulfurization section: pre-cooling circulation pump, foam tank, foam pump, waste liquid tank, waste liquid pump, sulfur melting kettle (the character “ Integration” is incorrect), submersible pump, heat exchanger, etc. In the oil storage section: crude benzene tank, tar tank, oil washing tank, concentrated sulfuric acid tank, alkali tank, tank for discharging acid, tank for discharging alkali, pump for discharging acid, pump for discharging alkali, pump for transporting sulfuric acid, pump for transporting alkali, pump for transporting oil washing solution, pump for loading tar, pump for loading crude benzene, submersible pump, loading arm, fire protection facilities (foam generation system, water spraying system for crude benzene tanks in summer). Equipment in the phenol-cyanide wastewater treatment section: centrifugal fan, slurry pump, various types of pumps, dosing pump for adding chemicals, water tanks, sludge skimmer, aerator, oil skimming machine, filter press, etc
There is also coal preparation and a coke screening and storage system. Stacker-reclaimer, conveyor belt, crusher, etc
There is also the screening and conveying coke processing section, including scrapers, belt conveyors, vibrating screens, roller screens, granulators, coke breakers, and so on. :lol :lol :handshake
Main equipment of coke ovens: top charging (charging cars, coke pushers, coke stoppers, coke quenching vehicles); side charging (charging cars, coke pushers, coke stoppers, coke quenching vehicles plus a flame-reversing dust removal vehicle). Other equipment includes rammers, switchers, coke quenching pumps, grabs, water seals, coke transportation and screening control systems, surface dust removal stations, etc. Additionally, there is a methanol system with compressors, air separation units, synthesis tower converters, storage tanks, etc
Additional: In the crude benzene section: oil washing tanks, dip pipes, foam fire extinguishing systems; in the ammonium sulfate section: full-flow tanks, water bath dust collectors, gas preheaters
I don’t know either; although I won’t work at the coking plant, I still need to learn* it.
Addition: Coal preparation workshop: electronic belt scale, belt conveyor
There is also an exhaust gas cleaning tower in the exhaust gas collection system
Additional information: Coal preparation workshop: dump trucks, screw unloaders, chain bucket unloaders, and grab-type cranes, as well as single-bucket loaders, roller conveyors, crawler-type bucket wheel excavators, and more
There are also furnace door maintenance stations and stacker-reclaimers
