When water-gas mixture flows through long pipes without insulation, is condensation inevitable downstream? How can we prevent this phenomenon from occurring? Because condensation can pose a risk of blocking the pipes. :call:
Semi-water gas should not condense under normal production conditions; some amount of condensate may form, but it’s sufficient to install drainage pipes at lower levels and drain the water periodically
Gas, like ordinary air, contains moisture. At high temperatures it is in gaseous form, but when it comes into contact with cold surfaces it condenses into water. Just as when we blow on glass in winter, tiny water droplets form on the glass; the same thing happens on the walls of gas pipes, where small water droplets are formed. Additionally, gas has pressure inside the pipes, and when this pressure is released, heat is absorbed, resulting in a cooling effect. This cooling also causes the moisture in the gas to condense into droplets. Water in the gas pipes flows toward lower areas, and it accumulates at the lowest point of the pipes. A special outlet is installed at this lowest point to allow the accumulated water to be drained away
