The transfer lines between the catalyst tanks, the large-scale loading and unloading lines, as well as the lines for adding fresh material to the catalyst tanks are all DN150 mm in diameter; the speed of material transfer always seems unsatisfactory. It’s usually pipes with a DN150 diameter, so there shouldn’t be any problem! In particular, the speed of loading and unloading catalyst into the regenerator is quite good; sometimes the speed of loading catalyst into the catalyst tank is not ideal, but that is not due to the diameter of the pipelines.
Mine is also 150. When adding the additive, be careful not to let the pressure in the tank get too high; if it is too high, the catalyst will get compressed and the addition of the additive will slow down. Next, check the air delivery pressure and make adjustments accordingly. Of course, high wind pressure is not acceptable either. Appropriate.
We are also at 150 units; as long as the industrial wind pressure remains at 0.5 MPa, the dosing rate is quite good.
The effect of adding the agent should be independent of the pipe diameter. We have encountered similar problems; usually, the number of times of large-scale addition is not high, and this is due to an inadequate control over such additions. There is a fluidizing medium at the bottom of the tank during addition, meaning that the first valve is not fully opened. The air pressure used for transportation is kept around 0.2–0.3 MPa, and the second valve is used to control the rate of addition. One must not rush when adding the agent, as opening both valves fully can easily lead to a dead bed. If the admixture is used during operation, the balancing agent should be filtered out completely after shutdown.
Take a look at the size of your device; under normal circumstances, DN150 with a capacity of less than 800,000 tons is more than sufficient. The low speed is related to your operation methods
