Is the low-temperature methanol washing technology better abroad or in China?

Our company is about to invest in a coal-to-methanol project, and low-temperature methanol washing technology will be used for the purification of raw coal gas. I would like to know whether this technology is superior in China or abroad, and which one has lower operating costs?
In terms of operating costs, those in domestic and foreign markets are roughly the same; in other words, the guaranteed values are satisfactory. From the perspective of design institutes, foreign options are better; there is relatively more comprehensive information available abroad, and the workload is less. And one can also go abroad. From the owner’s perspective, the technical fees in China are quite cheap. Save money.
The technology available in our country is quite good nowadays; we have adopted advanced foreign technologies and improved upon them, so it is already quite mature. Therefore, it is still recommended that the original poster use domestic technology. Moreover, the patent fees are much cheaper compared to those abroad.
