Can operators in dry catalytic cracking stop working once they get older?

Our catalytic units require a high level of responsibility and energy, so I personally believe that the operators should not be older than 35 years old; as people get older, their reaction speeds can slow down, and they may also take longer to handle problems. What are everyone’s opinions on this?

Age isn’t an issue; experience is what matters. Young people may not know how to handle problems when they arise, but those with experience can resolve them quickly
The original poster said it’s not necessarily the case. As mentioned above, both the technology and the operations are highly mature. As long as the feedback system is well controlled, everything becomes much easier afterward. Two people are enough to monitor it. One counter-reaction, one boiler.
