The moderators of the oil and gas forum section – I’m sure everyone of them wishes for the prosperity of our section. qwer123, the senior moderator, and zhenghemqx, the assistant moderator, are both very understanding; therefore, when a moderator fails to meet certain management targets, they will politely say that one should try harder next time. Because they all know that most of you are technical or management staff in factories, and you are very busy with your work; you handle the affairs of the forum in your spare time. However, if we look at it from another perspective, everyone starts as ordinary members, and they post messages in the hope of receiving recognition and encouragement from others. The management scores given by moderators represent the greatest form of encouragement for them, as not many ordinary members participate in scoring. Two members once asked me whether moderators who have marked a post as “read” stop reading it, and I said no. The members’ eagerness was evident, as I had also been puzzled by this issue in the past. So every day, aside from working, I spend my time at Haichuan; I hope to repay those members who are actively involved through my hard work. I also hope that the moderators can set aside some time from their busy schedules to get more involved in management, for the benefit of all members who are active in the forum discussions.
