To evacuate a liquid chlorine storage tank, the liquid chlorine must first be completely drained and packaged before the evacuation process can begin. It is possible to evacuate three tanks simultaneously, depending on the capacity of the main vacuum pump. If safety inspections or weld flaw detection are to be carried out, the insulation must be removed; otherwise, cleaning alone is sufficient, and there is no need to remove the insulation.
