In chemical plants, gaskets can be found everywhere, with 4F gaskets being the most common in our factory. Normally we use it just once and then throw it away, which feels a bit wasteful. I would like to ask everyone, how many times can a 4F gasket be used?

However, if they are to be used in pipelines carrying highly toxic substances, or substances that are flammable, explosive, or prone to leakage, it is best to replace the gaskets each time; the old gaskets should be collected and used in less critical pipelines. It seems better not to reuse them; the value of gaskets is not high, and the losses caused by minor leaks resulting from reuse are likely to far exceed the cost savings.
Use it a few times to see the actual situation; for pipes under high pressure or containing harmful substances, one use is sufficient. The requirements for ordinary pipes are relatively lower.
