Does anyone know the working principle of switch-type electro-hydraulic valves? What is the difference between a switchable electro-hydraulic valve and a regular switch valve?
A switch electro-hydraulic valve is a valve in which the control signal is provided by a solenoid valve, while the actuator is a hydraulic cylinder; this solenoid valve controls the flow of hydraulic oil into the cylinder, and the hydraulic oil drives the cylinder to move thereby opening or closing the valve. The power source for this system is a hydraulic station. This solenoid valve is generally three-position four-way.
