There are many manufacturers in China that can produce components for towers. I would like to learn more about the manufacturers of such tower components used in low-temperature methanol washing processes. Which manufacturers have achieved higher performance levels and also offer better quality work? What kind of problems have everyone encountered when installing these tower internals? Everything can be brought up to share with everyone!
We carried out design calculations and cost estimates for the internals of low-temperature methanol washing systems, but we did not win the bid later on. Our technology is reliable, and the product quality is excellent. There will be no problems starting production. During installation, since the tray supports are welded by the tower manufacturer, the levelness may occasionally exceed the specified limits.
Low-temperature methanol washing is characterized by its great operational flexibility; it typically uses plate towers. The tray designs developed by East China University of Science and Technology and Tsinghua University are highly mature, with numerous successful applications. There are many manufacturers of tray components for low-temperature methanol washing units. In China, these manufacturers often collaborate with universities; the main ones include East China University of Science and Technology, Tianjin University’s Distillation Center, and Tsinghua University. The first two have a larger track record in this area. Additionally, Sulzer also produces trays, but at higher prices. You can get in touch with East China University of Science and Technology and Tiantai Distillation Center. East China is unable to produce tray plates on its own, while the Tianjin University Distillation Center can carry out the calculations and has manufacturers that can produce them.
It is understood that the tray technology developed by the Institute of Chemical Engineering at Hebei University of Technology also performs well; a low-temperature methanol washing unit capable of producing 450,000 tons of synthetic ammonia has been in operation for nearly 5 years. However, there are few records of its performance, which may be due to insufficient efforts in market development.
Our company has manufactured components for low-temperature methanol washing systems with a capacity of 250,000 tons. As mentioned above, most domestic manufacturers still rely on the technical support provided by various universities. In terms of the projects we have handled, generally speaking, it is Dalian University of Technology’s process packages that are chosen more often in China.
Currently, the technology for producing internal components for towers in China is provided by various universities. Since I have no experience in this field, I am not very familiar with it; however, I do know a bit about packing materials
Beijing Zehua Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. www.zehua-chem.com is affiliated with Tsinghua University
I heard upstairs that Beijing Zehua Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. is affiliated with Tsinghua University?
Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd. is a state-owned wholly-owned limited liability company established by Tsinghua University, with the approval of the State Council, on the basis of integrating Tsinghua’s technology and industrial enterprises. Its registered capital is 2 billion RMB, and it is a corporate entity that operates independently, assumes its own profits and losses, and develops and regulates itself. The company and the enterprises in which it invests establish a parent-child relationship through capital ties, and operate in accordance with the law the state-owned assets and state-owned equity resulting from its investments in those enterprises ; It is mainly engaged in activities such as the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, incubation of high-tech enterprises, investment management, asset operation, and capital management. The company plays a leading role in the development of science and technology industries at Tsinghua University, as well as in asset integration, structural adjustment, and interest coordination. The enterprises invested in by Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd. include several listed companies that it directly or indirectly controls, such as Tongfang Shares, Chengzhi Shares, and Ziguang Shares, as well as controlled enterprises like Qidi Shares, Sunway Energy, Ziguang Group, Bio-Bao, Technology Venture Capital, and Huahuan Electronics. There are also enterprises in which it holds partial interests, such as Celer Network, Zehua Chemicals (a Sino-US joint venture), and Chenan Weiye. It’s not quite appropriate to be affiliated with Tsinghua. This post was last edited by LTY on 2009-4-22 16:04.]
