What grade of lubricant should be used for cycloidal pinwheel reducers? Thank you
At normal temperatures, 40# or 50# mechanical oil is generally used for lubrication. To improve the performance of the reducer and extend its service life, it is recommended to use 70# or 90# extreme pressure gear oil; the choice of lubricant should be reconsidered when operating in high or low temperature conditions. New oil should be replaced after 100 hours of operation at the first refueling, (and the dirty oil inside should be cleaned out) before continuing to use it. The oil should be changed every six months (under an 8-hour working schedule); if the operating conditions are harsh, the interval between oil changes can be shortened accordingly. Practice has shown that regular cleaning and oil replacement of the reducer (every 3–6 months) play an important role in extending its service life. Lubricant should be replenished regularly during use.

III. Lubrication 1. The MB continuously variable transmission must use ub-1 or ub-3 transmission fluid; in all cases, it is necessary to ensure that the transmission fluid is supplied according to the specifications indicated on the oil gauge. 2. When the MB variable-speed drive is equipped with a gear reducer or a cycloidal pinwheel reducer with a reduction ratio of less than ×42, 3# lithium-based grease (molybdenum disulfide) is already applied at the time of manufacture. 3. Extreme pressure industrial gear oil with a viscosity of 130-160EP is used for gears and cycloidal gears, while 50#-70# industrial gear oil is generally used for worm gear reducers. 4. Replacement intervals for various lubricants: transmission fluid every 2000 hours, lithium-based grease every 8000 hours, and gear oil every 8000 hours.
Also, could you provide a chart showing the grades of lubricating oils?
Generally, for speeds and power levels below 3KW, 2# lithium molybdenum disulfide grease is used, while for higher levels, 40# engine oil is used
