Natural factors: Rising weather temperatures, increased humidity, moderate wind speeds, and increased water flow in the circulation system (which interacts with the return water flow); increased heat load downstream (triggering factors: process operations, treatment capacity of the equipment, natural factors, accidental equipment leaks); changes in the quality of the circulating water (such as oil content and oxygen content); inefficient cooling fans; untimely adjustment of the louver angles in the cooling towers; insufficient flow of fresh water for replenishing the cooling towers
I’d like to add two points: 1. Increased loss of circulating water, due to two factors: A. As already mentioned by the original poster, natural factors can lead to increased evaporation or losses caused by strong winds; B. Operational factors, such as increased wastewater discharge by operators, or the use of circulating water in certain processes. 2. Decline in the efficiency of circulating water pumps, also due to two factors: A. Faults within the pump itself, such as wear and tear resulting from long-term use of the pump’s impeller; B. Operational factors, such as the opening degree of valves, which is related to changes in the pipeline’s performance characteristics. :lol
The return water cooling nozzle falling off reduces the cooling effect, which in turn causes the water temperature to rise: lol
