It seems that the atmosphere for discussion in the coal chemical industry zone isn’t very active

Recently, I launched the daily prize-winning quiz on coal chemical engineering knowledge for the following purposes: 1) to liven up the atmosphere of this forum, attract more users, and provide assistance by rating new members； 2. Also, in a spirit of learning and discussion, I would like to engage with everyone to review the basic knowledge and theories related to coal chemical engineering. But the result was beyond my expectations – the number of participants was the highest ever, with 12 people taking part. Things have been getting worse ever since; as of today, there is only 1 person involved, and most of them are some of the forum moderators. In other districts, similar activities see at least 20 participants per day, or even more, showing exceptional activity. Is the question difficult? All of my questions come from posts or materials previously shared on the forum; as long as you search carefully, you can find solutions to them. But no one participates. Additionally, none of our recent posts have made it to the “Today’s Popular Topics” section, which clearly indicates a lack of enthusiasm among people. But I feel that the moderators do their job quite seriously, and they do a great job with categorization. Perhaps the forum section is quite specialized, and not everyone can reply to many topic posts.
The friend upstairs misunderstood what I meant; I’m not saying that I think the moderators are not doing their job properly or that they aren’t doing a good job with categorization. It just seems that the atmosphere in this area isn’t as lively as in other areas. I hope the moderators can organize some activities to attract more people, after all, coal chemical industry is quite popular in China at the moment:lol
Really? In my opinion, the gasification forum is already very active. The mainstream gasification technologies discussed in this forum cover a wide range of areas. As for what the original poster meant by \"not active,\" it might refer to the number of posts or other factors… In fact, whether a forum is active or not depends on what the participants can learn from it and their level of engagement. Having been involved in gasification for 15 years, I find that I have gained a great deal from this forum, as there are many areas that I hadn’t previously explored
