At the same time, due to its repellent effects of saponins and its biological hormone action, it is also an excellent biopesticide that can stimulate crop growth. Underground pests are difficult to control. Special insecticides formulated with tea saponin as the main ingredient can effectively kill pests such as cutworms, earthworms, and nematodes, without causing soil pollution, which is beneficial for environmental protection. Synergists and spreaders for emulsifiable concentrate pesticides can improve their physicochemical properties, allowing for lower usage amounts while still achieving effective pest control. (2) In the aquaculture sector, the environmentally friendly pond cleaning agent 8901, formulated with tea saponin as its main component, can be used to clean ponds before shrimp farming, as well as to kill harmful fish during the breeding process. It also promotes shrimp molting and stimulates their growth. Additionally, it effectively kills nematodes and ciliates attached to crabs, thereby helping to treat crab diseases. (6) In the pharmaceutical field, tea saponin exhibits significant anti-leakage and anti-inflammatory properties.
