What exactly do you study? Learn whatever you can; if academic studies aren’t an option, then learn something else
How do you understand academicity? Is there no scholarship beyond the world’s leading standards? Theoretical research is academic, and applied research is also academic; if you can skillfully facilitate the transition of fine chemical development from the laboratory to industrial production, you are definitely an expert – experts in China alone would avoid you! As long as there are results, that’s fine; it doesn’t have to be highly academic – as long as it can be put into production, that’s the best
The most important thing is to transform theoretical concepts into practice, to apply them in real situations and turn them into productive outcomes – that is what constitutes true knowledge!
How could that be? It must not only be famous but also profitable. A certain prestigious university files as many as 1,000 patents per year, yet none of those technologies are put into production – do you think that makes any sense? Academic fraud has become fashionable these days. Be more practical – focus on the needs of the market and the requirements of industrialization. Winning provincial or **-level advancement awards is better than publishing papers in certain journals, isn’t it?

The research direction in the synthesis and engineering of fine chemicals focuses on the reaction kinetics of synthetic processes for new fine chemical products, as well as the engineering aspects involved in such processes. It involves research on the theories, methods, and techniques related to the development of new products and processes for organic metal materials, functional dyes, functional additives, drugs, and organic intermediates, as well as their industrial implementation.
Fine chemicals are mainly divided into two categories: first, fine organic synthesis; second, the formulation of fine chemical products. If one only deals with commonly used fine chemicals, then the academic value may be low, but the technical aspects remain quite sophisticated.
