Analytical instruments for polymers

I once heard that there is a device abroad that can determine the distribution of the number of various functional groups in polymers, allowing it to calculate the ratio of each monomer used in the production of such polymers. 1. I don’t know; I’ve never heard of such a device! This instrument is amazing!
Is there such a good machine? If such devices do exist, they are likely to have been designed and manufactured by foreign laboratories for use in testing and experimentation. Without commercial production, don’t hold your hopes up

Having a formula is just the first step; there are also process conditions to consider. The product I need is a copolymer of maleic anhydride and methyl vinyl ether. I found that \"all toothpastes use this substance,\" but I can’t find any manufacturers of it in China.
It is estimated that such an instrument is not feasible, as there are hardly any substances in the market that consist of a single component; even if functional groups can be identified, it is not necessarily possible to determine the molecular formula of the substance
