However, there are certain risks in on-site training, and simulation software cannot completely simulate the actual situation on site. I heard that there is a set of software specifically for training, like a virtual laboratory, but the price is relatively high. Our factory originally planned to buy it, but later we did not buy it due to the price, so we had to go to the DCS manufacturer or training institution for training.
An assessment system can be added to the current control system. Let’s take a relatively simple example.: Limit the important parameters up and down to see which one exceeds the maximum number of times. Of course, different industries and equipment require specific development and improvement.
Generally, simulation software is used for simulation training, single unit calibration and system joint calibration, that is, system debugging and power-on testing.
It is still the traditional method. The master leads the apprentice, slowly progressing from the shallower to the deeper, starting with simple operations and practicing step by step. Simulation cannot replace practice.
It is recommended that when you learn the DCS of a process, you must understand the principles of the process. Once you are familiar with the process, you will learn it quickly from the master.
The training of the general control personnel should first be very familiar with the on-site process, including the position, model, air opening and air closing of each regulating valve. Only when the on-site process is familiar can the on-site personnel be directed to operate.
