As the title suggests, as a beginner on ASPEN, I’ve posted quite a few messages here, yet I’ve seen the number of posts in this forum decline dramatically over the past two months… While the quality of posts is indeed the most important factor, without a sufficient quantity and popularity, the atmosphere becomes as cold and deserted as winter… This post was last edited by lujianfei79 on 2009-4-6 at 15:45
Hehe, quality is what brings popularity.
Lately it really hasn’t been working well. Those first two months since I came here felt great, hey
Yes! We need to find out the reason! ! !
You have to see it to know. What about the appeal?
Mainly, there are fewer points awarded and less data updated
I see that in the coking area, there are over 100 posts every day, and people still discuss ways to make their own area more popular so as to surpass the gasification area – but what about our own area? I feel that some concrete measures should be taken
Empty sighs are useless; I hope the original poster can come up with feasible and practical suggestions
It’s the moderators who should come up with feasible and practical suggestions. If several moderators don’t have any good ideas, then a discussion thread should be created so that everyone can discuss the issue together
Is it meaningful to discuss this? It’s holiday these days, so there are fewer posts; a few days ago, there were nearly 100 posts per day, sometimes even more than 100. Are more posts always a good thing? What Hai Chuan wants is quality, not quantity. We don’t need fake popularity; what we need are solutions to problems. The purpose of our being here is to learn new knowledge. What is popularity anyway? It’s foam! I would prefer that there be only one post per day in this area; it’s enough for everyone to discuss one post each day.
The key is that in many cases, problems either aren’t solved or are easily resolved, so these days I usually just stay as an observer.
It is hoped that all parties will remain calm and restrained, preventing any situation that could hinder the peaceful development of this platform from escalating further: lol
It seems I’ve angered the moderator: lol. Never mind, I’ll stop arguing; it’s pointless. The original poster is right – the quality of the posts is what matters most. I need to stop posting meaningless messages and spamming around like this. Just using vacation as an excuse doesn’t seem sufficient. This post was last edited by lujianfei79 on 2009-4-6 at 15:17.]
No one has an obligation to help others solve their problems; this forum merely provides a free platform, and both raising questions and solving them are done on a voluntary basis. In fact, many questions have answers on the forum, or in the tutorials available there. Many friends come here to ask questions as soon as they encounter a problem, and many of them are at an introductory level. Please don’t put the cart before the horse; self-study is the proper way to build a foundation and get started. Discussions and exchanges here are merely meant to help you improve.
