Is the pressure for the safety valves and control valves of the chemical injection system determined by referring to the pump pressure? Does the net positive suction head of chemical pumps need to be considered by the process engineering team?
Most injection pumps are plunger pumps; manufacturers of safety valve pumps include such valves, and the pressure of the control valve should be selected based on the pressure at the pump’s outlet.
What factors are used to select diaphragm and plunger pump pressure pumps? The safety valve I’m referring to is one on the pump outlet pipeline, designed to protect the pipeline.
