We have a pump with a flow rate of 500 cubic meters, a head of 80 meters, and a motor of 250 KW; the current consumption is around 15 A. It’s also 10 KV voltage, right? Theoretically, there’s no need to use such a large motor for this pump. Also, take a look at the no-load current of your motor. Check whether the pump itself vibrates excessively, has dead spots, or experiences axial movement and other issues.
Was the pump outlet valve opened too much at startup, causing the pump to start under overload?

A 500kw motor is quite intimidating.
It should be around 50KW, I guess. But 50KW seems a bit low again; haha, I’m not sure
