If CO2 is used as the carrier gas to transport coal powder, it promotes the reaction of CO2 + C = 2CO, reduces oxygen consumption, and increases the content of useful gases in the gas (6-9%). If coal with a high fixed carbon content is used, it is possible to operate the system at an overload condition to improve its economic efficiency.
