What is the specific material of A335-P22? Can A335-P22 be welded to 20#? If possible, what type of welding rod is suitable? Can the weld withstand high temperatures (400°C)?
For low-alloy steel, refer to ASME Volume 2 for the corresponding SA335P22 material, or directly consult ASTM for the A335P22 material. It can be welded to 20 steel, but heat treatment is generally required; E7018 welding rod can be used. If a weld is formed with 20 steel, the high-temperature strength may not meet the requirements.
