In process production, we often see words such as remote control valve, such as HV1203. In actual production, why is it called a remote control valve? Is there anything different from a regulating valve? Please discuss.
My understanding is that HV-1203, for example, is actually a shut-off valve. It just installs a handwheel on the valve cylinder to facilitate manual operation and control by on-site operators in emergencies. This kind of valve is generally installed at critical process points.
