There is both propylene glycol and ethanol in the workshop. How to set the combustible gas detection alarm? Should I set one type or both?
Do you need to set up both? If they are in the same place, different alarms should be set for different substances. I don't have much experience. "Design Specifications for Detection and Alarms of Combustible and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Enterprises" SH3063-1999 has regulations for setting different substances in the appendix. Both types must be installed. The position of the probe is standardized. Generally speaking, the upper part of the main equipment should be installed, and several monitoring points should be installed on the rest. Alarms are arranged on-site and centrally.
In a project I am currently involved in, there are 4 Class A and B liquids in a workshop. According to the "Design Code for Detection and Alarm of Combustible and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Enterprises", alarm instruments need to be set up. The seniors above gave me good advice, so I would suggest others to set up alarm instruments for all four types of combustible gases.

First, check the function of the product. Can it measure two substances at the same time and the effect meets the requirements?; If not, you have to install 2 types!
I agree with the comment above, you should look at the function of the alarm sensor.
