In the companies where everyone works, 【compared to team leaders, technicians (engineers), and senior engineers】. What are the benefits for technicians and senior technicians respectively? Or is there no special treatment at all? Do people think that the compensation offered to technicians or senior technicians in your company is high or low? What treatment should be enjoyed? I work in a state-owned enterprise; the team leader holds a position of category 8, while technicians hold positions of category 4. Engineers receive a salary equivalent to that of officials at the section level. There is only one or two senior engineers in each factory, and they seem to enjoy a salary equivalent to that of officials at the department level. Intermediate technicians receive the same salary as engineers, and senior technicians receive the same salary as senior engineers. From this perspective, technicians are the worst, and they don’t receive any other benefits (their skills are definitely higher than those of team leaders, as it is the team leaders who promote technicians).
I work in a state-owned enterprise as well. Our director falls under category 2, the party secretary under category 3, the deputy directors under category 4; senior engineers and chief technicians are in category 6, engineers and technicians in category 7, and team leaders in category 8. We further divide the technicians and senior technicians into two categories each: Technician 1, Technician 2 ； Senior Technician 1, Senior Technician 2. Technician 1: Category 8. Technician 2: Category 7. Senior Technician 1: Category 6. Senior Technician 2: Category 5. Compared to those in the higher floors, it seems that the salaries for senior engineers, engineers, highly skilled workers, and technicians in our factory are relatively low; even state-owned enterprises have a much larger gap in terms of salaries!
The workers in our workshop work on a five-shift, three-shift rotation system; they are classified as category three employees, but with different multipliers: 1.0 for those working in outdoor areas, 1.05 or 1.1 for those working in indoor environments with air handling systems, 1.1 for assistant engineers, 1.2 for engineers, seemingly 1.3 for senior engineers, 1.2 for shift supervisors, and 1.25 for shift chiefs. I can’t remember the rest!
