How to determine the length of the pipe for a cylinder assembly?

I’ve prepared the construction drawings; now that I know about the flanges and the inner diameter, I basically have all the information needed. The pipes to be used have also been selected. But how do I determine the length of these pipes? Experts, please help me. Thank you. Some people here say that trigonometric functions can be used, but it seems like one piece of information is missing- -
Since the diagram has already been drawn, just measure it directly on the diagram
The outer diameter of the take over is also a known value.
Take a length that is slightly less than the value measured from the diagram; I can’t remember the specific reason for this
It should be determined based on whether it is convenient for maintenance at the site or in terms of operational ease

This is calculated using the simplest Pythagorean theorem formula.
