In the domestic market, preliminary work and smaller demonstration projects are underway. The processes mainly include indirect liquefaction and direct liquefaction. Furthermore, our country also employs coal dry distillation technology to extract volatile components from coal, followed by hydrogenation to produce oil products; this is another type of coal-to-oil technology.
In other words, the core of coal-to-oil conversion is C plus H, right?
