How can one distinguish between the fixed end and the sliding end of a heat exchanger?

I have a question. How can one distinguish between the fixed end and the sliding end of a heat exchanger’s legs? Near the end without core extraction? During maintenance, from which end of the heat exchanger is the core pulled out?
With an extra seal, it’s easy to tell apart
I’ve looked at the assembly diagram, but I don’t quite understand it. Please explain it more clearly.
To distinguish them by the bolt holes on the heat exchanger support, the movable end has a long slot-shaped hole, while the fixed end has a small round hole.
Look at the bolt holes in the base of the heat exchanger legs: those with elongated holes are the sliding ends, while those with round holes are the fixed ends. From a civil engineering perspective, those with steel plates at the upper end of the foundation are generally sliding ends!
