How long does it take for the pressure in one bed of the paraffin oil hydrogenation reactor to drop to the limit value?
This depends on factors such as catalyst loading, drying, sulfiding, as well as the properties of the feed materials and the catalyst itself, the hydrogen used, and the stability of operation of the heating furnace. If all these factors are optimal, then no increase in pressure drop may occur even when the catalyst becomes deactivated; however, any serious mistake in any of these areas can lead to a sudden rise in pressure drop!
