Each one is **different**. I want to know too.
So, how is it done in actual design work? Those who know could please explain. I still don’t understand that concept of theoretical capacitance; it’s mentioned in GB50393, but it’s not included in the standards for sacrificial anodes. There is a quantity with a similar unit to it

SYT 0019-1997 Design Code for Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection of Buried Steel Pipelines – This standard contains all the data you need. With different electrodes, the theoretical amount of charge generated also varies. This value varies in different environments.
I’ll solve this problem on my own. The formula is W = T*365*24*I/Q*f, where T is the service life, Q is the theoretical capacitance, f is the efficiency of anodic protection (which is 85% in this case), and I is the total protection current – that is, the current density multiplied by the area to be protected. What I’m referring to is the calculation of the amount of sacrificial anode required for the upper surface of the tank bottom plate, not for pipelines
SY0019 is for buried pipelines, so how is it calculated for storage tanks?
