As the weather warms up and oil prices rise, our refinery is operating at full capacity, with the temperatures of the crude steam, stabilized steam, and diesel reaching new highs every day. What are the upper limits for controlling the temperatures of these three types of steam and diesel? Does the solution require reducing the volume? :)
Firstly, you can use bottom circulation oil, heavy paraffin oil, light paraffin oil, and middle-stage circulation oil to remove heat; heat is primarily removed through the evaporative generator. Additionally, air cooling and water cooling at their maximum capacity are used to remove heat as well. If that still isn’t sufficient, the plant will have to reduce its production volume, as safety in production must be our top priority.
The temperature limit for diesel leaving the unit is generally no more than 50°, while for gasoline it is no more than 40°.
The maximum temperature we can control here is also around 40 degrees above 50. It’s not yet the hottest time; if it gets to July and August, you will definitely need to reduce production volume. Please carry out maintenance on your air coolers, water coolers, and other cooling equipment as soon as possible
Gasoline at 40°C, diesel around 60°C. If there is no room for adjusting the delivery temperature of the product, then cooling equipment needs to be added.
The oil must be cooled to a lower temperature before being sent out of the unit and to the tank area. Prevent accidents caused by thermal stress in pipes. Typically, it is 40°C for gasoline, 60°C for diesel, and around 90°C for oil slurry.
It’s more or less the same for us: liquefied gas and gasoline at 40°C, diesel at 60°C, and oil slurry at 90–100°C.
