When comparing Shandong Sanwei Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd.’s SSR process with the Hydrocracker Super Claus process from Shell Netherlands, which one is more complex? Which one incurs higher patent costs, larger overall equipment investment, greater difficulties in production control, as well as higher operating and maintenance costs? And which one can more easily meet the requirements for purified gas quality? I hope there are specific figures to illustrate this
The SSR process is lengthy and requires high investment, but it ensures environmental protection. Chaoke is an extended version of the Claus process, with a yield of 99.2%; however, its exhaust gas emissions do not meet the standard of 960 mg/m3 specified in GB16297-1996.
