As the title suggests, this is a problem that plagues our boiler and turbine design; I’m hoping someone who knows about this can offer some advice.
Infrared temperature gun – very accurate
Any pointer-type thermometer will do; it has the lowest cost
Ask the thermometer manufacturer; I’ve seen local temperature meters capable of 600°C on samples
Bimetallic materials can’t withstand temperatures of 500 degrees; you might consider one of Otai’s models that features a digital display thermistor and is powered by a lithium battery – this could meet your requirements.
The second floor is a bit luxurious. The third floor isn’t clearly specified. For the fourth floor, could samples be provided, or the name of the manufacturer? May I ask if the thermal resistor on the 5th floor can measure 540 degrees Celsius?
Do you mean a primary meter or a secondary meter when talking about temperature measurement? It is better to use an infrared thermometer for on-site measurements. A bimetallic thermometer is used for primary measurement.
Well, both thermometers and thermal resistors aren’t very suitable; using a thermocouple is a good choice. Since it needs to be displayed on-site, integrated thermocouples with headers are preferable. If it seems too expensive, you can install a gauge box near the site, with a digital display inside:) Of course, the former option is recommended
This one is actually quite simple. Dual-metal models can measure up to 1000°F; the American DWYER models cost around 40-50 dollars. Alternatively, there are infrared non-contact sensors that can measure temperatures up to 500° without any problem, with prices ranging from 50 to 200 dollars
The pointer thermometer can measure up to 600 degrees; send me a sample image if you want
As mentioned on the 5th floor, using a thermistor with a battery and a digital display is more than sufficient; basically any manufacturer can produce such a device, so it’s not a problem. 540° is easily manageable for thermistors and thermocouples.
Local double-metal thermometers are available; those capable of measuring up to 600 degrees can be customized. For long-distance transmission, thermal resistors can be used.
Using a thermocouple + digital display (which can be battery-powered) is not very costly, and it provides greater accuracy compared to surface measurements
