How to write a proposal for a chemical engineering graduation project

I’m not sure how it is for you guys, but I used to first look up some information, write down what others had researched and to what extent they had progressed, and then based on the topic I had chosen, outline a general plan. The key is to see what your supervisor expects. It’s better to look up some information first before writing.

The proposal is quite simple; I just provided a brief overview of the background of the topic, the current research status both domestically and internationally, and the main aspects of the research. My supervisor asked for a concise version, so it’s only around 800 words in total

I guess different schools place different emphasis on the proposal report. In our school, the most important part of it is the literature review; other elements include the significance of the research topic, the research content, the research methods, and the work plan

First, gather information on the current progress of the projects you are working on, and then analyze their significance and the expected outcomes.

None of this is actually important; it’s just a formality. No school would keep its graduates stuck at the thesis stage
