Severe flooding in the solvent regeneration tower

Our company’s solvent regeneration tower underwent technical upgrades this year. After these expansions, there is severe flooding in the tower:-(; acidic water cannot be removed, and the temperature at the top of the tower doesn’t rise – as soon as it tries to rise, flooding occurs:-(. The liquid level at the bottom of the tower fluctuates greatly. Those with experience, please help me out:handshake
It’s flooding; the tower is overloaded.
There isn’t enough tower power; it’s also a problem of overload. I suggest you reduce the amount back to its original level and then gradually increase it to give it a try.
Our original operating pressure was 0.06–0.08 Mpa; now, in order to prevent tower overpressure, we have increased the pressure to 0.1–0.12 Mpa, but the situation still hasn’t improved. Sometimes, the tower overpressures when the temperature reaches 90°C :'( I really don’t know what to do
During the maintenance of my unit, I found that the trays were severely corroded; some of them had fallen off, and the clamps had also come loose. The opening rate is now higher than what was designed originally, but I estimate it’s still not as high as it would be if the trays were completely corroded.:
