Nitrile rubber is a polar rubber that dissolves easily in organic solvents; therefore, non-polar rubbers such as EPDM or neoprene should be used.
It is recommended to use EPDM rubber. The price is reasonable and the sealing is good.
EPDM is three-component ethylene propylene diene rubber; it possesses excellent resistance to oxidation, ozone, and corrosion, with a maximum temperature tolerance of 120 degrees
Nitrile rubber is prone to swelling by methyl chlorides under high-temperature conditions. Personally, I think neoprene or fluororubber is better.
Methane chloride must be a product related to refrigerants! The choice of material also depends on the operating temperature of your equipment. I believe fluororubber is better. Neoprene seems to have a similar solubility relationship with refrigerants, so it is not suitable for use. If the temperature is not high, I believe EPDM rubber can also be used.
The most practical option is high-pressure rubber cardboard; tetrafluoro gaskets can also be used.
