In a carbon dioxide stripping urea plant, the low-pressure decomposition equipment consists of a distillation tower and a recirculation heater, which are installed separately. The distillation tower is a packed tower, using Pall ring packing ； In the circulating heater setup, smaller units are equipped with both an upper circulating heater and a lower circulating heater; the former uses steam for heating, while the latter recovers the heat from the high-temperature return water to save steam consumption. In larger units, due to the low return water temperature of the high-pressure water, only one circulation heater is installed.
