It depends on which type of coal you plan to gasify – bituminous coal in lump form: for atmospheric pressure conditions, there is a fixed-bed system, but it seems that **its use is not allowed**; The pressurized Lurgi furnace can now be produced domestically, and the technology is also well-developed. Dry powder gasification – I haven’t heard of any technology that’s highly mature in this area; there are many problems with it ; Gray coalescing gasification – I have participated in pilot tests; bituminous coal can be gasified, but it is not possible to operate on a long-term basis, and the composition of the gases does not seem to be very ideal either.

1. Control the flow rate of gases such as oxygen. 2. Replace the catalyst with one that has high selectivity for carbon monoxide. 3. Control the gasification temperature. I remember having seen literature on this topic when we were doing experiments; you can look into that literature. 4. Another thing is to control the particle size of coal. Particle size has a significant impact on the gasification products.
