New employees lack proficiency in skills and business knowledge, and most of the younger staff also lack enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, a discussion is needed on how to properly guide employees to take the initiative to learn.
New employees need to receive more training; for them, training is even more important!
1. Introduce a competitive mechanism so that employees have pressure and motivation. 2. Offer different salaries based on employees’ skill levels, encouraging them to learn actively
I heard that there’s a factory that has an effective way of training new employees: they learn from their mentors during the day, and then attend evening sessions together to study and discuss things. And there are no holidays either; one has to attend classes. It’s still acceptable for freshly graduated students; after all, they’re used to starting from scratch. But it’s not feasible for some older employees – some of them are in their thirties or forties – who have to learn everything from zero just because they’ve changed industries. Everyone is very frustrated, but the management says it’s fine as long as there are results!

1. Income should be linked to technical capabilities. 2. The probation period should be extended appropriately to allow for proper evaluation. 3. The income of those who train others should be increased. 4. Certain measures should be taken against those who fail the evaluation.
Enhancing employees’ learning is easier for new companies! Due to the large number of new employees, through training, a few individuals can be turned into technical experts! In other words, it’s to give them motivation and hope! At the same time, put pressure on them: those who don’t perform well enough will have their positions changed and their salary benefits adjusted! It’s an old company, with employees who possess relatively advanced technical skills; moreover, the experience of these veteran employees makes them think that learning* is unnecessary, especially theoretical learning* There is no room for advancement for them! It is possible to strengthen practical learning and operational discipline! Remember: Learning is not only necessary for work, but also for survival and development! It’s no longer possible these days for someone to stay at one company until retirement! One must learn *more skills! Employees must understand this principle!
