Is a span of 20 meters acceptable for a chemical plant building?

I want to build a factory building and an office building with dimensions of 20m wide × 40m long, or 20m × 50m. I’m not sure if that’s possible. I’ve seen many plant layout drawings showing a width of 15 meters, with two sections each 6 meters wide and one section 3 meters wide between the 4 columns ； I’m not sure if 20 meters wide will work Is it okay if the span is greater than 6m?
The larger the span, the higher the cost; in the absence of any special requirements, it is of course constructed according to the standard template span specifications.
It’s generally possible, but it depends on the weight on the roof of the factory building; it’s best not to put too much load on the beams!

The larger the span, the higher the bearing capacity requirement for individual piles! The span is too large; be aware of the issue of uneven settlement caused by uneven soil layers!
